Dr Stuart Cunningham is a veterinarian who believes the best diagnostic tool is patience. He’s allergic to KPIs, sales targets, and the kind of corporate pressure that shapes what gets recommended in a lot of clinics, so he doesn’t have any to meet. Just the animal in front of him. He’d rather sit on your laundry floor and wait for a nervous dog to decide he’s safe than push through an exam that leaves everyone rattled. That approach comes from a simple observation: animals tell you what’s wrong, but only once they feel safe enough to show you. Outside of work he’s fuelled by coffee and dry humour, and he’s just as happy fixing something around the house badly as he is explaining a diagnosis clearly.
